Christmas is creepin' and the Documenteers hit the seasonal theme in this week's episode as Jonni and Bob Sham tackle a holiday warning in Rob VanAlkemade's 2007 documentary about Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping. It's "What Would Jesus Buy?" and it's free to view on Reverend Billy's YouTube channel. Good to know you don't have to buy a movie about holiday consumerism. Nobody seems to think Reverend Billy is wrong, but how well is this message being communicated in this film? Will Bob stop his holiday bitching? Maybe next week. Let's go to the mall! Then we can get escorted out of the mall by armed security! Then we dry hump the shrubs at Wal-Mart headquarters!
