051: The 3 C’s In Goal Setting

When I am working to reach a new goal in my life I follow a system- Clarity, Change and Commitment. Clarity- identifying what it is that you truly want cuz honestly how can you operate from a place of confusion? Quiet as kept you can't know where you are going without knowing where you are. Think about it, when you plug in your route destination into your GPS in order to receive step by step turns your current location must be recognized. So today take a moment to think of where you are currently and route out the directions to get your ideal destination. Change- The truth is the only thing constant in the world is change so we must embrace it and be willing to make changes that we need in order to get to where we desire to be. So when it comes to your goals you have to be willing to change what isn’t working in order to make room for what will. Commitment - most people operate from a place of motivation which means unfortunately when motivation is gone they aren’t working on their goals. The truth is motivation comes and goes this is why commitment is so important. Commitment means showing up for what you said you would long after the mood you said it in has left you. You must being willing to commit to your goals and the life you desire to live UNAPOLOGETICALLY because truly committing to your goals and your future is the strongest form of self love. These are the three keys to setting and achieving your desired goals and living a purpose-filled life. The good news is that these are not difficult steps to implement .
