Boost For Redevelopment Of Limerick To Foynes Rail Link

Irish Rail has opened an expression of interest for contractors to rebuild the 42km Limerick to Foynes Line which has been out of action since 2001. It is hoped the tender contract will be awarded in November with an 18-month construction period expected.Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, Patrick O'Donovan discusses the news.
