Does discrimination against redheads still exist?

A Dublin TD had an interesting heckle while walking the microphone at Leinster House last week -  a child shouted ‘Ginger’ to him. The TD took this comment in his stride, however, this made us ask the question... do redheads still get a hard time for their hair colour?
